OUR STORY

I AM

As a young child, I began to believe in and practice biblical manifestation when I began to write down and pray about the kind of life I envisioned for myself. Even to the point where my mama used to fuss at me about all of the sheets of paper and journals I would leave lying around the house with these “plans” of mine written for anyone to see.

As the years passed, I continued this practice throughout my life and found it to be my saving grace often especially following my diagnosis of depression and anxiety.

Like so many others, in 2020, the pandemic began to impact my mental health, so I returned to what I knew to be my haven of hope. I began a 40-day fast, asking God to give me wisdom and draw me closer to Him.  I also returned to writing and reciting affirmations to encourage myself.

As the curator of the AffirmMePlease brand , I created AffirmMePlease as a personal space of healing for me during that time, however, the Holy Spirit inundated me with the push to launch AffirmMePlease publicly as a means of introducing others to the principles and power of biblical manifestation and affirmations. And this time, I did not hesitate to be obedient!  And so AffirmMePlease transitioned from my heart to an existing reality across social channels in 2021.

Since then, the AffirmMePlease social hubs has experienced tremendous positive reception and growth, reaching over 40,000 unique social media followers across the world.

Now I am continuing to listen and follow God’s direction by launching the AffirmMePlease brand, providing inspirational resources across the globe.  There have been highs and lows on this journey, but through it all, I have learned to trust the power of writing the vision and making it plain.

AFFIRMMEPLEASE THE BRAND

When God first begins to reveal our purpose and calling to us, there are certain actions we must do to ensure we stay on course to fulfill our purpose.

WRITE THE VISION...

In Habakkuk 2, God instructed Habakkuk in Habakkuk 2 to write clearly about the vision or instructions he had received from Him.

Since God likes to write things down, He gave us the Bible so we can read His words and think about them. And if God wrote in the Bible, we should do the same. The Bible tells what God thinks, plans, and wants for people.

Biblical affirmations are rooted in biblical truth and God-focused.  In fact, the use of Biblically-based affirmations can turn our thoughts to God and His work in our lives.

DEATH & LIFE ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE...

AffirmMePlease was created to inspire us to recite God’s promises and prompt us to proclaim them, write them down or even save them on our phones if we want to remember them.

The Bible tell us that God’s word is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), which means it is more than just words in a page. God’s Word is a powerful, life-giving force that changes the person who hears it.

So, speak God's promises out loud and put them in writing so we can recite and read them over and over and learn them.

Welcome to AffirmMePlease
